Bio: Originally from South Africa, where for many years he was an anti-apartheid campaigner, Terry is now a British citizen and has lived in the UK since 2003 (and in Haslemere since 2006). Following a career in market research and later in education, Terry is now semi-retired, and works part-time delivering medicines for a local pharmacy, which has given him an acute awareness of the difficulties faced by some of the elderly and vulnerable people in our community. As a long-term rare cancer patient, he is a trustee for GISTCancerUK, and also a consumer representative with the NCRI Sarcoma Clinical Unit.
