The next phase of Waverley's social housing programme is going ahead immediately to provide our residents with new housing built to modern and sustainable standards.

Lib Dem Cllr Paul Rivers said, "I'm delighted that we're announcing this programme to replace some of our older houses that are increasingly expensive to run. These houses will enable our tenants to make modern and cost-effective homes."

In Godalming, "Site C" at Ockford Ridge will provide 30 new houses, all of which will be zero-carbon rated, have pre-insulated frames, and use heat pumps and heat recovery as standard.

Along with 12 houses in Catteshall Lane and 32 more in Chiddingfold and Farnham, this marks the start of the next phase of Waverley's social housing provision.
