Planning some festive shopping this December but watching the budget?

Want to support local businesses while picking up gifts and treats?

Good news! Waverley Borough Council is, once again, teaming up with Hoppa to offer free bus journeys across the borough in the run-up to Christmas. This initiative aims to make it easier for residents to shop local and support our high streets.

Free travel will be available in Farnham, Godalming, Cranleigh and Haslemere between 9.30am and 2.30pm, Monday 15 December to Wednesday 24 December.

Councillor Liz Townsend BEM, Waverley Borough Council's Portfolio Holder for Planning and Economic Development, said:

"Make your festive shopping easier, more affordable, and more enjoyable this season. Save money while supporting the local shops that make our high streets special. Every purchase you make close to home helps keep businesses thriving, protects local jobs, and strengthens our community. Shop local and share the festive spirit this Christmas!"

You can register by visiting hoppa.org.uk/register or by calling 01428 681701.

Please note: this offer covers trips to your nearest local high street in one of these four centres (e.g. Hale to central Farnham or Milford to Godalming).
