Brian has lived in Cranleigh since the early 1980s, together with his wife, Barbara, and joined Cranleigh Parish Council last year.  He sits on the planning committee and is involved with the Village Hall community cinema project. 

Brian’s broad range of interests have resulted in him having worked as a software engineer and designer, plant biologist, and musical director for 100 shows across the UK, most recently in Ewhurst.  He is committed to supporting the performing arts in all its forms as part of the fabric of village life.

Brian’s original training underpins and informs his passion for protecting our environment, pushing for adequate infrastructure, and scrutiny to support any necessary development.
