On Thursday 7th May 2026, local residents will have the opportunity to decide who speaks on their behalf on the new West Surrey Unitary Authority, which will replace existing Surrey borough councils, as well as Surrey County Council.
Enthusiastic and committed local Liberal Democrat candidates stand ready to champion your concerns and to lead our community towards a positive and prosperous future.
Lib Dems will work for residents to:
- Take back control of our roads, pavements and highways
- Find a way forward for children's services, SEND provision and adult social care
- Run an efficient, financially sustainable council
- Take the lead on climate change
