Dave Busby for Waverley Eastern Villages

I live in Chiddingfold with my husband and little boy and have been proud to serve as the Waverley Borough Councillor for the village, a former Conservative stronghold, since 2022. I have campaigned against sewage dumping into local streams and welcomed the upgrade of the local treatment works, successfully opposed drilling for fossil fuels at Dunsfold alongside local residents, and have worked hard to protect the character of the village while ensuring local people have the homes they need. Alongside my council duties, I work in the international development sector supporting charities and community organisations around the world to strengthen their financial management.

I am determined to ensure the voice of our villages and rural communities is not lost as West Surrey moves to a new unitary authority. I am standing to represent all of Waverley’s villages in the same manner that I have represented Chiddingfold, keeping in touch with residents, listening carefully, working hard all year round and tackling the practical issues that affect our day to day lives, including the shocking condition of local roads.
