Victoria Kiehl for Godalming South, Witley & Milford

I’m Victoria Kiehl and I live in Godalming with my husband and young son.

I was elected to Waverley Borough Council in 2023 and, since then, have had the privilege of representing the town centre of Godalming, Ockford Ridge and Aarons Hill. I am also on the decision-making Executive as Portfolio Holder for HR, legal and governance.

I have extensive experience of working in local government across Surrey, and for Surrey Fire and Rescue Service as a project manager. Before this, I worked in the Houses of Parliament for a Lib Dem MP, set up a policy resource service for the party and became a policy adviser.

My son was born in 2020 in the height of the pandemic and I chose to take a career break at this point. For over a year, I led a local health partnership serving south west Surrey, listening to feedback and working with families and carers to make improvements to health visiting services for young children. Health and education are topics I’m really passionate about and would continue to champion on the unitary council.

I love the local area and am often out with my family in our beautiful towns and villages, parks and woodland. I am committed to ensuring that our most vulnerable residents, like young children, have their voices heard in the new unitary. My understanding of how current services are working across Surrey will help me navigate and work hard for the residents of Godalming South, Milford and Witley.
