Your local voice for Chiddingfold & Dunsfold
Waverley Liberal Democrats are delighted to be backing local resident and campaigner Dave Busby in the by-election on Thursday 1st December to join the progressive, hardworking team of Lib Dem councillors at Waverley Borough Council.
Following the sad death of respected Councillor John Gray, voters across Chiddingfold & Dunsfold will be going to the ballot box to choose a new councillor for the area.
Lib Dems in Waverley have a track record of protecting our environment, ensuring fairer access to housing and standing up for residents, so on Thursday 1st December, back Dave Busby to represent Chiddingfold and Dunsfold.
Dave Busby has been working hard for our area, getting potholes fixed and graffiti cleared, campaigning to end the disgusting amount of sewage pouring into our streams and is part of the Lib Dem team fighting Conservative-approved plans to drill for fossil fuels in our beautiful countryside.
He lives with his husband on Woodside Road, Chiddingfold, and runs the volunteer programme for a non-profit supporting charities across the world. A keen runner, Dave has run several full and half marathons, raising money for charity.
Dave Busby said, “We need an active, visible and hardworking local councillor, that will fight for our villages and get things done for residents.
“When half of Chiddingfold is without water, or when Combe Lane is closed unexpectedly for weeks, or when the bus doesn’t turn up day after day, it should be our local councillor that’s demanding action and keeping residents informed on what’s going on.”
Yes, I'm backing Dave Busby!
Let Dave know that you'll be backing him on Thursday 1st December. It will be a very close election, so every vote will count.
